Advent House Ministries, Inc (AHM) provides food, shelter, housing, education, and employment assistance to those struggling with poverty and homelessness in our community. Our parish serves lunch on the third Saturday of each month. Volunteers are needed to both cook and serve meals. St. Vincent Catholic Charities (StVCC) serves our community through programs such as: adoption, foster care, a 40-bed children's home, counseling services, refugee resettlement, and immigration law services. Holy Cross Services (HCS) was founded in 1948 as Boysville of Michigan and has grown from one site to 20 and continues to provide hope and healing to children, adults and their families. HCS is one of the largest private, not-for-profit providers of children and family welfare services as well as behavioral healthcare services in Michigan. Homeless Angels is a Christian street-based ministry in Lansing, Michigan, founded in 2013 with a mission to find, befriend and build up those that are less fortunate. Our parish high school youth group serves a monthly meal there throughout the year.
