Joshua Hamilton was born in Fowler, MI in 1995. The oldest of 5 boys, life was pretty busy around the house! In the summer before his freshman year in high school, Josh attended a Steubenville Youth Conference and had a powerful and personal experience of Jesus' love in the Eucharist.
From that point on, he became extremely involved in his parish and youth ministry program. He was asked to join his youth ministry leadership team in his junior year, where he worked with other upperclassmen to grow the youth group, help plan retreats, and most importantly, to personally invest in and disciple younger students. This is the foundation for his vision of ministry.
In college, his faith continued to grow while at MSU through St John Student Center, including running a bible study in one of the dorms on campus and attending an 8 day Ignation-style silent retreat! He graduated in May of 2016 with a Bachelors in Media and Information.
Joshua worked for over a year as a 911 Dispatcher for Ingham County before coming to the parish. He was married on June 17, 2017, and he and his wife Sarah, and their daughters Genevieve and Bernadette currently live in Lansing. He has a passion for marriage and family ministry, parish leadership team formation and visioning, and using technology to bring the Gospel to everyone.
